Blue Pencil Science edits all documents in Microsoft Word using the "Track Changes" tool. After completion of our service, we will return two versions to the author:

1. In one version, the changes made will be visible to the author, and he or she can decide which individual changes to accept. Comments will also be inserted, offering suggestions or asking for clarification where needed.

2. In the second version, Blue Pencil Science will create a clean, unmarked edited copy of the manuscript in which all changes have been accepted. This copy offers the author the opportunity to read the corrected manuscript without the obstruction of editing marks.

Blue Pencil Science is now pleased to offer the option for clients to have edits made directly on PDF files! Using cutting-edge software, Blue Pencil Science can review PDFs with professional, publishing house-used proofreading and editing marks. This service is especially useful for clients who can convert their presentations only to PDF files or those who prefer to see our edits overlaid on the original image.
