Blue Pencil Science offers two levels of editing service:

At the Proofreading level, we will review your scientific document for simple errors in spelling, punctuation, and English grammar. This level is recommended for clients who feel confident in their writing, but who desire basic editorial services.

The Copyediting level includes proofreading as well as editing for style and sense. Copyediting involves making substantive changes to the text to improve clarity, flow, and conciseness; these changes include rephrasing, revising sentence structure, improving word choice, and omitting unnecessary words. This level is appropriate for clients who wish to enhance the readability of their document to native English speakers.

Journal Submission Package 

Blue Pencil Science can also create a custom package of services for authors who are preparing journal submissions, including: unlimited revisions of the manuscript, editing of cover letters and supplementary documents, journal-specific formatting of references, and ensuring that all required elements of the submission checklist are completed.
